🏑 School to Club Pathways in Action | Hockey Heroes 🏑

Our School to Club approach continues to show the power of connection — supporting not just participants, but their families, schools, and the wider community. By removing barriers and creating welcoming, fun environments, we’re helping young people build confidence, friendships, and a lifelong connection to sport. It’s Field2Future in action.

Over the past four weeks, we’ve proudly:

  • Connected 250+ students to hockey across our targeted schools

  • Delivered Getting Kids Places support with 3 buses operating each week

  • Supported by 6 dedicated bus drivers and bus supervisors, ensuring students arrive safely and on time

  • Created a welcoming space with afternoon tea, fun activities, and Hockey Heroes sessions that keep kids engaged, active, and smiling

These sessions are about more than hockey — they’re about belonging, opportunity, and strengthening the pathway from school participation to club and community involvement.
